Luminys Systems Corp. (formerly Lightning Strikes, Inc.) manufactures
high-intensity lighting systems for applications where image quality is
paramount.
We serve motion picture and television production, live
events, entertainment venues, high-speed testing applications, and other
industrial and professional uses.
Our Lightning Strikes® and SoftSun®
lighting products have garnered numerous awards, including Technical

Luminys Systems Corp., formerly Lightning Strikes, Inc., is the developer of the award-winning Lightning Strikes® and SoftSun® lighting systems for motion picture and television production, live events, entertainment venues, high-speed testing applications, and other industrial and professional uses. Our lighting systems offer up to 500,000 watts of intensity from a single source, with high-quality light (5400º Kelvin and 96+ CRI) that can dim to 3% of maximum output without shift in color temperature. Luminys™ is a vertically integrated in-house design, engineering and manufacturing company providing application-specific lighting solutions and control systems that meet the needs of our customers.
30K LabLight vs. HMI 8K Light
Luminys’ 30K LabLight™ is available in linear (above left) and parabolic (above right) systems.
The Luminys 30K LabLight ™ features a wrap around soft light source that fills in shadows to bring out more detail using fewer, compact high intensity lights. For lower cost, Luminys delivers higher illumination levels with higher quality light, as well as greater control and reliability to produce superior results for high speed photography.

Lighting System
SunSource is the solution for high speed photography,
resolving the common problems of the amount and
quality of light. SunSource sysems increase available
light and depth of field to allow better overall imaging
in any high speed application.
